Yesterday we’re excited with the world’s largest 3D UD TV, but now we’re excited with the world’s largest OLED TV. As we know, OLED is the future of home TV entertainment. It has many advantages compare to the traditional LCD and the newer LED technology, it’s faster and offers batter colour production. LG’s OLED TV is 1,000 times faster than LED/LCD displays. So how big is it? Scheduled to take a stage at CES 2012, the mentioned OLED TV has a display size of 55-inches.

The adoption of OLED TV is very low, but it will change soon as LG successfully found a method to manufacture OLED TV a lower cost. I don’t know yet how low the price at the moment, but it’s a matter of time until all of us can afford to have it.

In comparison with OLED TV from other manufacturers, LG said that its OLED TV has 4-Color Pixels (RGB + white) not 3-Color Pixels (RGB only). And beside the 4-Color Pixels, LG’s OLED TV also features Color Refiner to produce natural, accurate, sharp, and consistent colors. Regarding design and look, this OLED TV comes with LG’s Slim and Narrow Bezel at only 4 mm thin and a mere 7.5 kg. You want to see it? It will be at CES 2102 trade show in Vegas next week!

As for now the price of OLED technology still very expensive, only the rich can buy. But I think you don’t have to be a great footballer like Wayne Rooney who has a 250,000 GBP of salary per week. Ah forget it! If you live in UK, you can find OLED TVs from Amazon UK
