SteelSeries’ Illuminated Siberia v2 Frost Blue Headset
The Siberia v2 Frost Blue Headset was introduced by SteelSeries at CES 2012 in Vegas last month, and it’s scheduled to ship in Q2 with pricing to be announced. The heaset features a glowing blue LED lights around the outer mess grill on the left and right earcups. It’s also bundle with SteelSeries Engine software that allows users to adjust both the lights and the soundcape which include illumination options, equalizer settings and profiles setting for multiple game titles and players. There 6 modes of illumination can be assigned to any game profiles, those include Active Mode, Slow Pulse, Fast Pulse, High Bright, Low Bright and Off.
Designed with comfortably in mind, the Siberia v2 Frost Blue Headset feature a lightweight, over-the-head suspension and circumaural earcups that feature 50mm driver units, covered by grey leather cushions for a noise-dampening sound. And for easy control, it comes with an in-line volume and mute controls those can be found on a durable, double-braided nylon cord which also sports a USB connector.
The Siberia v2 Frost Blue Headset also features an active noise cancelling, “smart” microphone system that retracts when not in use. You may ask what the active noise cancelling system is? In this case, the microphones processor reduces the “noise” and focuses on the sound that is closer to the mic, your voice.
