Garmin Approach G6 GPS Golf Device for Serious Golfers

Weighing only 300gr, the new Garmin Approach G6 GPS golf device is small enough to fit in your pocket (wait the minute, are you a golfer?). Designed for golf enthusiasts, this GPS device comes preloaded with over 25,000 worldwide courses. And the battery life can support your entire weekend of play just on a single charge, or it lasts up to 15 hours in numbers. The Approach G6 boasts 2.6″ display that’s still readable under sunlight, that’s very important for outdoor use.
Expected to be available in February 2012 for $299.99, the Garmin Approach G6 GPS was at CES 2012 in Vegas last week. And one thing that golfers will love it, is the layup arcs feature that can help them to make layup decision. The layup arcs are drawn on the map and offer at-a-glance references to 100, 150, 200 and 250 yards. And last but not least, it also allows golfers to measure, judge layups or zero in on hazards or obstacles, and zoom in the landing area by touching the place on the layout map, that’s pretty cool.
