55-inches OLED TV is the World’s Largest at the Moment — LG at CES 2012
Yesterday we’re excited with the world’s largest 3D UD TV, but now we’re excited with the world’s largest OLED TV. As we know, OLED is the future of home TV entertainment. It has many advantages compare to the traditional LCD and the newer LED technology, it’s faster and offers batter colour production. LG’s OLED TV is 1,000 times faster than LED/LCD displays. So how big is it? Scheduled to take a stage at CES 2012, the mentioned OLED TV has a display size of 55-inches.
The adoption of OLED TV is very low, but it will change soon as LG successfully found a method to manufacture OLED TV a lower cost. I don’t know yet how low the price at the moment, but it’s a matter of time until all of us can afford to have it.
